Marina Domingues is an Economist with a Ph.D. in Technology Innovation focused on hydrogen-related technologies from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Marina was a visiting researcher at the University of Aalborg in Denmark during her doctorate.
She is the director of market and regulation of the Brazilian Hydrogen Association. The Brazilian government appointed her to represent the county in the International Partnership for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells in the Economy (IPHE) task force, which focuses on developing a methodology for accounting for greenhouse gas emissions related to hydrogen production. Marina is a Member of the ISO working group “Methodology for Determining the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Associated with the Production, Conditioning and Transport of Hydrogen to Consumption Gate”, developing standards for hydrogen certifications. Marina is a Lead Hydrogen Analyst for the Americas region at Rystad Energy, working on energy transition topics such as hydrogen and carbon capture.
