Background: Senior energy industry executive, networked-consultant, with over 50 years of experience, including engineering, management, business development, project finance, marketing and government affairs. Intimate knowledge of a wide range of energy and climate/environmental issues both domestic and internationally coupled with a keen understanding of governmental policymaking, regulatory compliance, and state rate making and congressional authorization and appropriation processes. Experience includes providing in-person testimony before Congressional committees and serving as expert witness in litigation matters. Subject matter expertise includes clean technology deployment readiness assessments, project risk assessments, energy infrastructure development, power generation economics, and project finance and project execution and planning. Technology and project experience includes, clean hydrogen generation, advanced nuclear, onshore and offshore wind, biofuels and transmission. Experience includes working directly with various DOE Offices, including Office of Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), Office of Nuclear Energy (NE), Loan Programs Office (LPO), and Office of Clean Energy Demonstration (OCED).
