With a steadfast commitment to growing the green hydrogen economy, Alex Savelli, Managing Director of Electrolyzers – Americas at Accelera by Cummins, is dedicated to helping customers decarbonize in a variety of industries. Alex leads the regional electrolyzer business in North and South America and works cross-functionally with engineering, product and sales teams to deliver leading PEM and alkaline electrolyzer solutions to the market.
Alex joined Cummins in 1994 in the Industrial Marketing group. In his nearly 30-year tenure with Cummins, he has held several other commercial and general manager roles within the company in both on-highway and off-highway segments of the Engine Business and Power Generation. Alex has worked out of three different U.S. locations – Columbus, Charleston, and Minneapolis – and had assignments in Brazil/Latin America and the United Kingdom/EMEA.
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Alex graduated from the University of Sao Paulo with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and earned his MBA from the University of Michigan.
Alex lives in Minneapolis, MN, with his wife Claudia and their son Luke.
