Randy has been a successful entrepreneur within the environmental commodity and alternative energy industries for over two decades. In 2005, he co-founded Element Markets, LLC, a leading developer and supplier of environmental commodities in North America, and, following the company’s 2022 merger with Bluesource and subsequent rebrand as Anew, currently serves as Head of Portfolio Management. With Element Markets, Randy served most recently as Co-President and as the Managing Director over the Environmental Commodity division and guided the Company in building the largest independent portfolio of renewable natural gas, including landfill gas, wastewater treatment, and anaerobic digestion sources. His extensive experience in structuring environmental commodity transactions including biogas, emissions, renewable energy, and greenhouse gas credits has eclipsed $3 billion in total transactions completed, which has led him to be recognized as one of the top executives in the environmental commodity marketplace. He serves on several boards including Rice University’s Professional Science Master’s Program and was a founding Board Member for the Renewable Natural Gas Coalition. Randy received his BBA in Business, magna cum laude, from the University of Houston.
