Rajiv Sabharwal serves as the Vice President of Business Development – Energy at Bureau Veritas North America Inc., a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services, with a focus on supporting the advancement of the renewable energy including hydrogen , wind and solar.
With over 25 years of industry experience, Rajiv has been instrumental in driving the energy transition and hydrogen initiatives within the Bureau Veritas North America business. His extensive expertise spans various domains, including quality control, safety protocols, carbon footprint quantification, and the implementation of measures for carbon neutrality.
Before joining Bureau Veritas, Rajiv held the position of Director of Business Development at Lloyd’s Register. During his tenure, he led the ISO-55001 certification project, marking the first gas distribution company in the United States to achieve ISO-55001 certification.
Rajiv holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Production Engineering and is NDE Level II certified. He is a distinguished life member of the Institute of Engineers. Additionally, Rajiv actively contributes to the industry, serving as the Financial Committee Chair for the Rice Global Engineering & Construction Forum from 2021 to 2023 and as an Advisory Board Member of The EIC (Energy Industry Council) US Connect since 2018.
