Brian is responsible for the strategic direction and overall operations of Iogen. He has a wide range of experience in the biofuel and biochemical industry. He has been responsible for the formation of the company’s critical strategic alliances, its operations and has overseen Iogen’s technology development and technology positioning. Brian has been recognized for his lifelong contributions to the bioenergy industry, having won both the Holmberg Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Bioeconomy and the Raphael Katzen Award for distinguished contributions to the deployment and commercialization of biotechnology to produce fuels and chemicals from renewable resources. In addition, Brian is a prolific inventor with over 112 issued patents. Brian holds Bachelors degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering and a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, all received in 1980.
