Luz Stella is a lawyer from Universidad del Rosario in Bogota and has a specialization in Tax Law from the same university. She has been working at the energy mining sector for over 16 years.
She has served as Vice President of Promotion and Allocation of Areas of the National Hydrocarbons Agency, where she promoted foreign investment, especially in the development of offshore hydrocarbon exploration and production. She also worked as Exploration Manager in that entity.
She worked at Ecopetrol for eight years as tax advisor for the entire value chain of the business. Luz Stella also participate in the whole process of value determination of the share for the IPO, as well as in the internationalization process of the company.
In addition, she held as Executive Director of her legal firm with emphasis on environmental, social, and business affairs for the development of projects in the mining and energy industry.
